David Orr is the Club Professional based at The Whitecraigs Golf Club and brings with him a wealth of relevant knowledge and experience. He aims to offer everyone, members and visitors alike, the best possible golfing experience.

David began playing golf aged 4 and during his junior days he represented Scotland internationally at both Boys and Youth Level. A Professional for over 20 years, David has won on the MasterCard Tour, 3 time winner on PGA EuroPro Tour and has amassed over 50 Tartan Tour victories. Further achievements include The British Assistants Championship, The Scottish Assistants Championship and The Scottish PGA Championship at Gleneagles. In addition, he has huge experience from competing in over 40 events on both the Challenge and European Tours.

In 2010 David achieved a Foundation Degree in Professional Golf with the PGA and has since developed a successful coaching business working with golfers of all abilities – from the absolute beginner right through to Scottish Internationalists and Professionals. David also coaches Renfrewshire Golf Union Under 14s and 18s.

David offers a wide range of high-class services including a well stocked Professional Shop, private tuition with access to Trackman 4 Radar Technology, custom fitting and repairs.

David is part of the TGI Golf Partnership Buying Group and recently won the award for ‘The Most Improved Business of the Year’ for 2017!
